The United Way of Bruce Grey sometimes provides structure to community committees where a charitable number is needed, or a funder is looking for a more structured partner.

MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) are the foundations of these partnerships to ensure continuity and due diligence.

If a project fits within the United Way’s scope of work in the community, there is the possibility for the United Way to act as the flow-through or ‘sponsor’ for the Grey Bruce Community Foundation‘s granting cycle. The first step is to speak to the Foundation about your idea, and then the United Way about being the sponsor.
