Backpack Program Pick-up Times and Locations

We are finalizing the depots for 2026, please review your location.

We cannot guarantee we can get backpacks to depots after August 26th. Please call us at the office for further support 519-376-1560

Calls Friday, September 4th, or over the Labour Day weekend, will mean you need to pick up directly from the United Way office, in Owen Sound. We are open until 4:30 on Friday and closed until Tuesday at 8:30 am.

Grey County

Durham – to be confirmed – contact the food bank

  • Pick up at the Knox Church Wednesday August 12 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Thursday August 13th from 9 1m to 1 pm as part of the Kids Clothing Distribution, Gently used children’s clothing will be available during those times
