COMMUNITY INFORMATION

& RESOURCES:

COVID-19 is reminding us that our collective action and collaboration is so needed now!

We are grateful to so many local organizations who are continuing to deliver essential services during this uncertain time. On this page we have pulled together some community resources for easy reference.

We know that marginalized and disadvantaged people in Grey Bruce are disproportionately at higher risk: Indigenous people, people who are homeless, people on social assistance, incarcerated people, people who are living with disabilities or compromised immune systems, the elderly. And workers who are self-employed, in precarious jobs, in retail or service sector are starting to experience layoffs. We can anticipate that there will be an increase in the number of people accessing emergency services to meet their basic needs.
