If you or someone you know relies on oil for heating their home, they could potentially be eligible for assistance in transitioning to a more efficient heat pump system.

The “Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program” is a program

• of Natural Resources Canada
• to help households at or below the median household after-tax income level
• for households that own the home and use it as their primary residents
• to switch from heating with oil to heating with electric cold climate air source heat pumps
• that gives those that qualify an upfront payment of up to $10,000
