Tuesday, October 27th is #DressPurple Day. Please join us by wearing purple in support of vulnerable children, youth and families.

This Tuesday, October 27th is #DressPurpleDay. This is a province-wide day that raises awareness about the important role that individuals and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth and families. This year, the campaign is more important than ever as the Covid-19 pandemic has created additional stressors for families across our region.

On #DressPurpleDay2020, we at the United Way of Bruce Grey will join in on the movement and will be wearing purple in support of children everywhere. We invite you to join us. It’s our way of showing support for vulnerable families and a reminder to let the community know that we are here to help.

If you would like to make a difference to over 800 vulnerable children living in poverty in Bruce-Grey, you may choose to make a donation to our #HopeForOurKids Fund which provides warm winter clothing and boots, access to basic need supplies such as food, etc and necessary safety equipment such as car seats, cribs, gates and more.

To make a difference today, please visit www.DonateHope.ca. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a direct difference to a child in need in our region.

To make a donation by phone, please call 519-376-1560.

To donate by mail, please send your cheque to the United Way of Bruce Grey, 380 9th Street East, Owen Sound, ON N4K 1P1

Thank you for caring. We really appreciate your support.
