As November comes to a close, so does Financial Literacy Month for 2024.

Over the month, we talked about

• The Winter Disconnection Ban
• Talking about money with someone you trust
• Talking with family and friends about financial boundaries for the holidays
• Checking your credit score

The campaign message for Financial Literacy Month 2024 is “Money on your mind? Talk about it!” and encourages people to do one thing to build their confidence about their money this month. What one thing have you done?

If you haven’t done something yet, there is still time. What one thing will you do in the next two days? Consider unsubscribing to 3-5 promotional emails from companies. If you go to the bottom of the emails, you can usually find an unsubscribe button. This will decrease the number of emails you get and decrease the pressure to buy new things.
