What a fantastic month of creativity and community spirit we’ve had. From April 23 to May 23, all 28 Bruce Grey libraries teamed up with us for a World Turtle Day colouring contest that was truly something special.

Families stopped by their local libraries to grab a free turtle colouring page and let their imaginations run wild. We saw everything from bold patterns and vibrant colours to some truly one-of-a-kind designs. It’s safe to say that Bruce Grey knows how to celebrate turtles in style.

A huge thank you goes out to our amazing library partners and to everyone who joined in the fun. Your enthusiasm and creativity helped make this contest a wonderful success.

The winners were announced on World Turtle Day, May 23, and their artwork captured the spirit of the event perfectly. We were thrilled to see so many thoughtful, colourful submissions that showed just how much love our community has for these slow-and-steady friends.

Thanks again for making this celebration one to remember. We can’t wait to see what we all create together next time.
