“Hi, I’m Nolan Taylor and I was raised in Owen Sound. When I was a kid, my parents got me involved with The Backpack Program by having me make a backpack at Staples for the Stuff the Bus event each year. I was then further introduced to fundraising through my mother, who works as a fundraiser, by learning about her day-to-day work and volunteering at events. This led me to apply for the Backpack Coordinator position to be able to help contribute to a program I’m fond of and be able to further my knowledge and skills in terms of charity work.”
