We’re proud to be featured, sharing insights on today’s challenges and the important work we're able to do because of the supporters of United Way Bruce Grey. 💸 It’s #FinancialFriday AND Financial Literacy Month! 💸 National Indigenous Veterans Day is at the Gichi-Name Wiikwedong Reconciliation Garden on Friday, November 8th (tomorrow), to honour and remember the service and sacrifice of the many who stepped up to serve. Francesca and Kristy are at the Bayshore Community Centre today for the @cityowensound’s Community Open House. 📣 A big thank you to OPSEU Local 235! Your support and generosity mean so much to our community. On Monday, October 28th, Local 235 held a feminine hygiene product drive, helping to ensure access to essential products for people across Grey and Bruce counties. Not only did they rally for this crucial cause, but they also donated $500 towards feminine hygiene products AND an additional $600 to support The Utility Assistance Program. Attention! Beware of scams and free offers from questionable companies. 🦌 It's hunting season! Stay safe by wearing bright colours to increase visibility, especially if you're out in nature. And remember, extra caution is key while driving—wildlife might be on the move.
