Post Event Update: Stuff the Ambulance
This past Saturday, Stuff the Ambulance happened at Walmart in Owen Sound and it exceeded all expectations! We are ecstatic to share the incredible results with you:
🍽 We collected a whopping 513 lbs of food for the Owen Sound Salvation Army, which will make a tremendous impact at our SOS Market where they hand out emergency food hampers.
🧴 Thanks to your generosity, we received half a skid of in-kind donations. These essential items will greatly benefit individuals and families who are assisted through the SOS Program.
💲 Through the amazing support of our community, we were able to raise an impressive $1375 in funds which will support further needs as well as OSHaRE which provides lunches at our 2 SOS Market locations. Your contributions will directly help those in vulnerable situations.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who supported Supportive Outreach Service (SOS) on this momentous day. Your overwhelming response and willingness to help truly touched our hearts. It is heartwarming to witness the unity and compassion within our community.
Huge appreciation goes out to the exceptional volunteers from the Grey County Paramedic Services, Brightshores Health System, CMHA Grey Bruce, Salvation Army, OSHaRE, Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey, and UWBG volunteers. Your selflessness and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others are truly admirable. Thank you to Walmart, too, for allowing us to be there!
By working together as a team, we have achieved something remarkable. We are immensely grateful to everyone involved in making this day an astounding success. Thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts!
