Flow Fridays 2025

Let’s get real for a second: period poverty is a thing.

It’s not just about pads and tampons. It’s about dignity. Health. Equity. Period poverty means not having access to menstrual products, education about periods, or even safe hygiene facilities. And for too many folks in our community, it means making impossible choices — like buying groceries or buying period products.

That’s just not okay.
But together? We can change that.

Introducing: Flow Fridays – Powered by Zoomer Radio
We’re so excited to launch this new initiative, right here in Bruce Grey. Starting June 6th, we’ll be popping up at local pharmacies to talk periods, break the stigma, and collect menstrual product donations to support those in need.

Here’s where we’ll be:

June 6Shoppers Drug Mart (16th Street, Owen Sound) – 10 AM to 1 PM
June 13Shoppers Drug Mart (10th Street, Owen Sound) – 10 AM to 1 PM
June 20Kristen’s Pharmacy (Southampton) – 12 PM to 3 PM

Drop by, say hello, and make a donation if you’re able — pads, tampons, and menstrual cups are all needed and appreciated.

Can’t make it on a Friday? No worries.
Each pharmacy will have a donation bin available for the entire month of June. So whether it’s a quick pharmacy run or a planned visit, you can still take part and make a difference.

Why Flow Fridays Matter

Menstrual products aren’t a luxury item.
They’re not “nice to have.”
They’re a need to have.

By supporting Flow Fridays, you’re helping make sure no one in our community has to go without something so essential. You’re standing up for dignity, health, and equality — and that’s powerful.

Let’s smash the stigma.
Let’s end period poverty.
Let’s support one another — one pad, one tampon, one donation at a time.

Thanks for being part of the movement. Bruce Grey, you never fail to show up with heart.
