Here is a list of events for anyone to enjoy. There are community activities like local markets, live music, and nature-focused events such as walking trails and gallery tours, to celebrate the season.

Community Events April 10–12:
- Owen Sound Farmers’ Market: April 11. Support local vendors in the River District (free to attend).
- Exhibit Reception: A Closer Look: April 11. View art by Bonnie Hastings and Wanda Haayen.
- River District Events (Owen Sound): Various activities in downtown Owen Sound, including a community clean-up put on by Safe N Sound.
- Kemble Maple Tour: April 11
- 5th Annual Wairton Seedy Saturday: April 11

Ongoing Local Attractions:
- Visit Harrison Park in Owen Sound, which has playgrounds, outdoor walking, tennis/pickleball courts, etc

- Explore the Tom Thomson Art Gallery (free admission days)
- Trail systems in Grey and Bruce – you could mention that many trails are finally snow-free and free to walk and explore the emergence of spring
