Owen Sound, get ready. Banditfest is back on Sunday, July 13, bringing a full day of music, art, and climate action. It’s all happening across two downtown venues, and it’s all powered by youth.
Daytime: 11 AM – 6 PM @ New River District Boardwalk
This is where the day kicks off. The boardwalk becomes a buzzing festival hub with:
- Live performances by artists under 25
- Indie, punk, and experimental sounds
- Local makers, zine creators, and artists
- Community booths and hands-on exhibits
Catch acts like Carrot Cake Milkshake, Stonefree, Meteor Heist, and Sink. These young performers are rewriting the rules of live music.
Night Show: 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM @ Heartwood Hall
When the sun goes down, the energy shifts to Heartwood Hall for a full-on concert experience. It’s an all-ages show, packed with even more talent and high-impact sets.

Kids 12 and under get in free
New in 2025: Banditfest Goes Green
This year, Banditfest launches its Green Initiative. It’s about action, education, and youth-led climate leadership. Here’s what’s new:
- An original short documentary featuring youth climate projects from Owen Sound and Grey County
- Local eco-partner booths
- Waste-reduction efforts and interactive sustainability exhibits
Banditfest 2025 is about more than music. It’s about making change.
