Pi Day 2021
Thank you for celebrating Pi day with us!
If you missed out on this year’s event, pop us a message and we’ll put you into a database to connect for the 2022 event.
We started the day in the sunshine, ready to curbside 50 pies, Saturday morning.
Mike was the first one to arrive to pick up his pie, 10 minutes early! Dude wanted his pie!
While reporting in was optional, Sunday’s social media feeds were full of people posting their Pi walk or run. This team from Owen Sound Fitness gathered and ran at 1:59 pm making the day 03.14 1:59 to really make the Pi puns work.
There were 2 ways to celebrate Pi Day!
You could order a pie baked by OSHARE or CMHA’s Fresh Roots Café or partake in the Pi day run (3.14 miles or 5.05 km) or both! Any donations beyond pie purchases and Pi Run purchases are split between the three participating organizations. Tax receipts are provided for any additional donations.
